Friends in the Bay Area!! If you’ve ever wanted to visit or re-visit Angel Island State Park, Skyler Chin and I will be there performing a concert of songs from Illegal: A New Musical along with the amazing singer Catherine Gloria on 10/22! It will be a very special performance taking place inside the barracks of the historical Angel Island Immigration Station. You can get tickets for the ferry on the AIISF website and enjoy hiking around the island as well
Also, we will be giving a talk at UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive on 10/21, along with Filipino-American playwright Jeffrey Lo, who recently directed The Paper Dreams of Harry Chin!
